The pricing is built around bulk request orders so this service may be of more business use rather than personal use. We can easily see how Checkr can be used by companies to perform candidate screening on an ongoing basis but the length of the result can be staggering. In our case, we had to wait over two weeks to get a response back. The pricing is also not very straight forward and we have found numerous complaints about hidden fees that are not clear at the time of purchase.

IDtrue can be considered a good alternative if you don’t want to break the bank for your everyday people search needs and do not have any exotic information requests.

We found a lot of data to be badly structured, outdated, and irrelevant on multiple search subjects. The initial report compilation “animation” is a 10-minute process where we felt borderline harassed by the ongoing popups that kept appearing out of nowhere. 5 years ago we would have given InstantCheckMate 5 stars… but with the growing competition and constant innovation that big players have to keep up with – we do not see valid reasons to stick by old traditions in people search.
